DESCRIPTION:As you know\, Temple Israel takes security very seriously. In l
 ight of several synagogue attacks and an increase in antisemitism\, we wil
 l be hosting a course - on Sunday\, April 10th beginning at 10:00 am (ap
 proximately 2-3 hours). Registration is required.\n\nCRASE provides strate
 gies\, guidance\, and a proven plan to survive an active shooter event. To
 pics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events\, civilia
 n response options\, medical issues\, and considerations for conducting dr
 ills. The Scranton Police Department will explain the structure of the dep
 artment and will provide guidance on what to do when the police arrive.\n\
 nIf you register for this course\, please be on time as the police have a 
 strict schedule. They will conduct the course but will leave time for ques
 tions that you might have individually.\n\nThis course should be attended 
 by any member who wants to get a better sense of our Temple security proto
 cols already in place as well as what the police advise us to do in secur
